Sketchbook update!

Hi! I'm at Carnegie Mellon right now. Back in Pittsburgh. First week of school has been okay. A lot of prep work, setting up, moving, getting used to the daily rhythm of school. Classes are great - but looking forward to more fun. These are some old sketches I didn't post up. There are some environments in here - which I think were awesome to do.

Creature Design Compilation Portfolio

:)  Finally put all this stuff together.  Not everything is "portfolio worthy."  I think some are more successful than others.  Regardless, wanted to put together everything for my own use and record.

Frankenstein
I took the thumbnails that were chosen in class and took them into grayscale. But even as I render it - I feel like something is fundamentally wrong.

I feel like the Godzilla isn't that threatening. The Predator isn't that dangerous. And the Frankenstein looks kind of silly. Do you guys have any tips?

Recently, I've been helping two high school kids build a portfolio for art school. I've been working on industrial design projects with them. These are demos. One is a rendering demo. The other is my "paint-overs" of their designs.
